Buying Tips

Area rugs are priceless heirloom which should be bought with great care, understanding and confidence. 

Some words of advice:

Area rugs should be bought from an established retailer with a trusted and earned reputation. If the establishment is new then verify its integrity from recognized trade associations, or with your local Better Business Bureau.

Avoid buying from the traveling auctions, often held at hotels, or promotional sales with heavy discounts which often exaggerate the values of the rugs.

Ask questions about quality (weave, knots, etc., some information on which you can see on our Collection pages), suitability for the use you have in mind, guarantees, etc.

Thoroughly inspect the actual piece or a representative sample for its quality, colour, and design by looking at the back of the carpet.
